Workshop

The GPU development and support role.

Hands fitting a memory module into an open machine on a workbench, with spare modules and a screwdriver nearby.

What it does

A dark room where a single desk lamp lights a cluttered workbench of cables and small tools.

Takes the side jobs off your main cards

Supporting jobs run here, so the Compute machine's cards stay free for the main work.

Hands typing on a laptop as ribbons of blue light flow out of the screen.

A bench for building and testing

Try new models and apps here before they reach the fleet.

An opened hard disk drive showing the platter and read arm, in dark monochrome.

A spare pair of hands

When another machine is down for work, its jobs can move here.

Questions

Do I need a Workshop?

No. It's the role to add when you build and test your own AI, or want a spare machine for the fleet.

What hardware does it need?

A workstation with room for graphics cards. We size it with you and help you source it from any vendor.

Can it run May?

It runs supporting jobs for May. Her main model runs on the Compute machine.
